These are the terms under which ostream.dev is offered. By using the service you agree to them.
ostream.dev is a line-oriented streaming relay. Producers push lines to a stream; a consumer reads them. Buffers are bounded and short-lived. See the home page for details.
You need an account (created by signing in with a supported OAuth provider) to push or read streams. You are responsible for keeping your API tokens secret. If you share a token with someone else, treat that as a deliberate decision; we cannot distinguish usage via a shared token from your own.
Don't use ostream.dev to:
You keep ownership of whatever you stream. We don't claim any rights in your content. Content passes through our buffers only long enough to be delivered to a consumer.
The service is currently free. If we introduce paid tiers, the free experience will remain available (with possibly smaller quotas).
You can delete your account at any time via contact@ostream.dev (self-serve deletion in the dashboard will come later). We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, ostream.dev is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data. If you rely on ostream.dev for anything important, keep your own copy.
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the change. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
